Sharon Wheatley remembers her “middle America” roots

The Broadway actress saw parallels between her Cincinnati neighborhood and her show, “Come From Away.”

Broadway actress Sharon Wheatly spent a large part of the pandemic touring the country in an RV with her wife and their child.

Initially, they found themselves in Cincinnati, renting a house close to where Wheatly grew up. Eventually, they realized that the COVID-19 wasn’t going away anytime soon, so they got an RV to travel the country.

But the time spent in Cincinnati gave Wheatly a chance to reflect on her Cincinnati roots — and appreciate them.
