Spook-tacular Cincinnati sites
These three Queen City attractions deliver scary Halloween surprises.
Anitmusic.com has identified five areas worth traveling to for unique Halloween experiences. Cincinnati made the list, along with Mexico City, Burbank, CA, and a castle in Ireland. Those looking to be spooked in the Queen City can visit the gravesite of CC Breuer at Spring Grove Cemetery, where a bust of Breuer keeps watch over the grave. Legend has it that Breuer’s real eyeballs are set in the bust’s eye sockets, and he watches visitors as they pass through the cemetery.
Other suggestions include visiting the U.S.S. Nightmare, a ship-turned-haunted-house, where the truly brave can book either a Captain’s Extreme Tour or the R.I.P. Experience; and a ghost hunt with Haunted Cincinnati Tours.
