Cincinnati's new Uptown Innovation Corridor will attract innovators thanks, in part, to CoMADE, which will house eight core manufacturing programs.

According to Industry Today, “The heart of the Midwest looks set to be the birthplace of a pioneering and unique breakthrough that could not only rejuvenate urban manufacturing but also become the model for cities across the U.S. and throughout the world.”

They’re referring to CoMADE, a $26-million project designed to bring product innovators, manufacturers, and workers together in a 100,000 sq. ft. Uptown Innovation Corridor in Cincinnati.

The center, which is set to open in the fall of 2020, will be the first of its kind globally, and follows an intense study of more than 100 manufacturing programs across 17 cities. It’s also predicted to create up to 1,000 new jobs.
