Architecture Matters panel discussion: Good design is good for the planet

You are invited to the next discussion about how sustainable design reduces environmental impact and improves how we live.

Panelists include (top, l to r) Sari Lehtinen, International Associate AIA with MA Design, John Stoughton, AIA with Team B Architecture & Design and Tim Nolan, AIA with emersion DESIGN. (bottom) Sanyog Rathod, AIA, and founder of Sol design + consulting, will moderate.

The recent Architecture Matters feature in Soapbox discussed how good design is good for the environment. Among the panelist’s regional projects are new and redesigned housing, rehabilitation of existing industrial, manufacturing and office buildings, private and public outdoor spaces, and rethinking historical assets. Their shared perspective begins with a statement from nearly 20 years ago when the architect Carl Elefante said, “The greenest building is. . . one that is already built.”

This is your invitation from AIA Cincinnati and Soapbox for a follow-up conversation with plenty of time to ask your questions.
