Cincinnati airport among best on-time performers
In a recent study by the Brookings Institution, the Cincinnati-Middletown metropolitan region ranked in the top 20 metro areas for on-time performance with the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport serving as the primary airport. The top 100 largest metro areas were evaluated in the study that ranked Cincinnati at number 20 with an on-time arrival rate of 81.6 percent as of June. The Cincinnati region was tied with Indianapolis, and ranked ahead of other nearby metropolitan areas like Columbus and Louisville. The study also discovered that twenty-six metro areas account for the majority of delays. The worst performing metro area is New York-Northern New Jersey-Long Island, while Salt Lake City was the best with 86 percent of its flights arriving on time. Read full article here.
