Video Wussy shops for MusicLi launch at MidPoint
MusicLi takes members of the acclaimed Cincinnati band Wussy on a flea market field trip to buy prizes for local musicians who sign up with the new music licensing platform during the MidPoint Music Festival.
In preparation for the official launch of the MusicLi music licensing platform at this weekend’s MidPoint Music Festival, Brad Schnittger took several members of the acclaimed Cincinnati band Wussy on a field trip to Treasure Aisles Flea Market. They bought items they thought bands would want or need while on the road, from phone chargers to tiny velvet-covered ponies, so MusicLi would have prizes to give to musicians who sign up with MusicLi during MidPoint.
True to MusicLi’s purpose, Schnittger licensed an as-yet-unreleased song from Wussy, “Sidewalk Sale,” for a video of the shopping adventure. Band members say the song likely will appear on a new album in 2016.
