In preparation for the official launch of the MusicLi music licensing platform at this weekend’s MidPoint Music Festival, Brad Schnittger took several members of the acclaimed Cincinnati band Wussy on a field trip to Treasure Aisles Flea Market. They bought items they thought bands would want or need while on the road, from phone chargers to tiny velvet-covered ponies, so MusicLi would have prizes to give to musicians who sign up with MusicLi during MidPoint.

True to MusicLi’s purpose, Schnittger licensed an as-yet-unreleased song from Wussy, “Sidewalk Sale,” for a video of the shopping adventure. Band members say the song likely will appear on a new album in 2016.
