Rise of the Rest hit the road—stopping in Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Nashville—to celebrate entrepreneurship and tell the stories of the people and ideas that are reinventing some of America's greatest cities one startup at a time.
Rise of the Rest‘s mission is to accelerate the entrepreneurial spirit and empower the communities from coast to coast that are keeping the American Dream alive for future generations. So they hit the road—stopping in Detroit, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati and Nashville—to celebrate the progress and tell the stories of the people and ideas that are reinventing some of America’s greatest cities one startup at a time.
At each stop on the tour, they hosted a pitch competition, pitting the best startups in each city against one another for a chance to win $100,000 from Steve Case, one of America’s best-known and most accomplished entrepreneurs and philanthropists. Frameri won the Cincinnati competition.
