While the former Buzz Coffeehouse in Corryville was all about counterculture, the new Taza is all about the community.

According to the News Record, the non-profit corporation has set a goal of funding community service projects in Corryville through “Friends on a Mission” mini-grants.

Taza also shows environmental and social consciousness by serving free-trade coffee and local and organic offerings.

The walls are adorned with works from local artists, and plans are in place to provide performances by local musicians.
