Fast Company ranks Procter & Gamble 11th most innovative

In its annual Fast 50 rankings of companies that “dazzle with new ideas”, Fast Company has ranked Procter & Gamble as the eleventh most innovative.

In its annual Fast 50 rankings of companies that “dazzle with new ideas”, Fast Company has ranked Procter & Gamble as the eleventh most innovative.

The magazine reports that P&G created the Connect + Develop program, which allows outside  developers the opportunity to get their concepts and designs into the company’s product pipeline.

Forty-two percent of P&G products have an externally-sourced component, allowing the company to continue to grow.

In the last fiscal year, P&G revenues rose 8 percent and profits climbed 14 percent.
