If you fancy contemporary Italian cuisine and cocktails accompanied by good conversation, don’t miss this event. Cincinnati E.A.T.S. is finishing up their 2008 restaurant-socialization tour this Wednesday at Nicola’s Ristorante. Included in the flat fee of $37.00 is a three-course menu from Chef Cristian Pietoso, tax and tip! Noche Última en España

When the sun is going down on the Medditerainen Sea, the nights of nearby Spain are just heating up. Join the Cincinnati Opera for Late Night in Spain, the official after-party of the 2008 Opera Ball, when Music Hall is transformed into a night club scene reminiscent of the white hot isle of Ibiza. Enjoy a midnight tapas bar, aerial entertainment and late-night dancing to the spins of DJ Will Benson. Tickets are $35 in advance; $40 at the door.

And the Award Goes To…..
November 23
Ok, so it’s not as big as the People’s Choice Awards, but Cincinnati’s Entertainment Awards still gives Cincinnatians the right to vote for their favorites, in 19 different musical categories. The 12th annual awards ceremony will be held at Emery Theater this year and serve as a culmination of King Records’ 65th anniversary. Bootsy Collins will perform a tribute to the late King Records legend James Brown and the evening will come to a show-stopping close with bluegrass icon Ralph Stanley. Select nominated bands like The Sundresses will also perform. You can’t even get near the red carpet for $20 and that not only gets you into the CEA’s but also on to the smoking after-party; there’s no excuse to miss this! Click here for more.

So You Think You Can Run?
November 23
Lace up your cross trainers and stretch out those quads because it’s time once again for the Cincinnati Hill Climb Series. Put your running skills to the test by sprinting up some of the city’s steepest hills. If you don’t require oxygen by the time you reach the top of Straight St. hill, consider yourself good.
