“Instant Friends:” Cincinnati Zoo African penguin bonds with woman dressed in black and white

In a video posted to Twitter — which quickly went viral — Izzy Melzer shows how she was followed in front of the glass that separated her from the bird’s exhibit.

Cincinnati Zoo officials and visitors recently witnessed a “BFF bonding moment” between a woman dressed in black and white and an African penguin in an exhibit.

Izzy Melzer shared a video on Twitter showing one of the birds following her back and forth in front of the glass enclosure. The penguin waws definitely interested in bonding.

“I made a friend,” Meltzer says. “Could it be my penguin-like resemblance?”
