The Newcomer: Colin Flynn

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Twenty-five-year-old Colin Flynn of Columbia-Tusculum is the co-founder, with Erin Flynn, of Righting Style, an online fashion democracy that helps brands connect with the right bloggers.

Describe your SXSW experience in five adjectives.
Inspiring, Sleepless, Exhausting, Informative, Fattening

What was the weirdest/most unexpected thing that happened?
Watching Jimmy Fallon race another SXSW attendee down the aisle during the Nike Fuel panel.

What was your very best moment?
Attending a panel where brands were talking about how hard it is to find the right content creators to work with and watching Erin Flynn (other co-founder) about to burst waiting for the Q&A time so she could tell everyone about what we were doing. Around five people came and talked to us along with handing out their business cards right after that panel.

What’s your big takeaway to bring to Cincinnati?
Getting smart people together, talking about big ideas, along with some good drinks, leads to an awesome event.

What are your plans for next year?
We’ll let you know in three months … once we have recovered.
