$11M grant, new leadership fueling CincyTechUSA

An $11 million Third Frontier grant and a strong investment team have helped position CincyTechUSA for more positive gains.

An $11 million Third Frontier grant and a strong investment team have helped position CincyTechUSA for more positive gains.

The Business Courier of Cincinnati reports that the seven-year-old high tech and biotech accelerator pumped close to $5 million into five startup companies last year, and plan to do the same this year.

They will also raise an additional $5 million for existing companies and award $500,000 in Imagining grants to startup companies spun off from local research institutions.

Many credit the Third Frontier grants for CincyTechUSA’s ability to take their investment in local companies to the next level.
