The addition of Justas Giedraitis to its staff will allow interactive media design and development firm CinciMedia to expand into 3D visual effects for television and film.

Giedraitis has worked as a freelance visual effects designer on television documentaries The Dark Ages and Washington, the Warrior for the History Channel and feature films including Dungeons and Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God.

In addition to the new hire, CinciMedia has made a $50,000 investment in a new 32 core render farm – a network of computers – and associated hardware and software.

In a media release, CinciMedia’s U.S. CEO Karl Treier says that the new acquisitions position them well to enter new markets in the United States.
