On Dec. 8, developers, nonprofits, philanthropists and community members gathered for the first ever IDEALAB, presented by Soapbox Media and Issue Media Group.

Eight panelists from Cincinnati, Denver, Detroit and Minneapolis presented their ideas, projects and best practices, followed by a keynote address from Eric Avner of The Haile Foundation. Attendees then went on a tour to hear about three Cincinnati projects: the Hellmann Creative Center; the educational partnership between Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Cincinnati Public Schools and StrivePartnership; and the food innovation district vision for Findlay Market.
