In 1914, Martha, the planet’s last passenger pigeon, died at the Cincinnati Zoo. In summer 2013, ArtWorks turned John A. Ruthven’s original painting of Martha and her flock, a masterpiece by the 20th Century Audubon, into a public mural. This video is a time lapse of the work that John A. Ruthven, Tim Parsley and 15 ArtWorks Youth Apprentices spent more than 103 days painting.
