The Cincinnati Art Museum Hosts China’s Formidable Terracotta Army

The Cincinnati Art Museum welcomes more than 120 pieces from China’s “Terracotta Army” from the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor. The traveling exhibit will be in Cincinnati from April 20–August 12, 2018 and you can read more in a feature story in Forbes.

For newcomers, the Cincinnati Art Museum looks over the Ohio River from its location in the city’s popular Eden Park, one of America’s great urban spaces. The original CAM building dates from 1886, while later additions have been restored in more recent times to reflect their historic design origins. General admission to permanent collections is free, which include, among many more, pieces by Botticelli and Murillo, Hals and Rubens, and works that continue on through to Monet, Picasso and Modigliani.
