UC’s online nurse practitioner program is one of the 10 best in the country

Aspiring students can get a degree without ever setting foot on campus.

Online College Plan ranked the top 20 nurse practitioner schools online, and the University of Cincinnati is No. 9. In order to qualify, a school had to be currently and fully accredited and had to be a not-for-profit institution with at least a 50 percent freshman retention rate and a 50 percent graduation rate.

According to the site, UC’s MSN FNP is a 50 credit-hour program that can be completed in as little as two years thanks to the accelerated curriculum. The program is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education and prepares graduates to sit for both of the available certification exams.

The program puts a strong emphasis on family care and will not require you to attend campus at all. You can even complete your 672 hours worth of clinicals at a location convenient to you.
