Maury’s Tiny Cove: the West Side steakhouse
Maury’s Tiny Cove’s vintage atmosphere is what drew a location scout for the 2015 film Carol. And, in the nearly 70 years of its operation, it hasn’t changed all that much.

With its slogan of “Big City Spirit, Small Town Charm,” the city of Cheviot highlights its feel of a vibrant, active community and the close-knit feel of a smaller town. The West Side city is known for its business district along Harrison Avenue, the annual Harvest Home Fair and Parade that draws people from all over the area, and a classic steakhouse, Maury’s Tiny Cove. Cheviot Public School and Saint Martin’s Catholic School have educated thousands of students over the years, and in 2018, the city celebrated its 200th anniversary with a community celebration at Cheviot Fieldhouse.
