A class of Northern Kentucky University business informatics majors are spending a semester researching
Spectrum Inc.’s TrueVue software, a Web-based telecom expense management service.
Spectrum Inc. helps small and medium-size businesses analyze their telecom needs, negotiate with providers and set up their systems.
Local customers of the software including
Messer Construction and
Baker Concrete Construction have been positive.
Spectrum is putting up a $10,000 scholarship for the group of students who presents the best recommendation following the research. Officials at NKU’s
College of Informatics hope that Spectrum’s sponsorship will serve as a model for future experiential learning opportunities for students in the school.
