The
University of Cincinnati College of Pharmacy has been awarded the 2008 Crystal APPLE by the
American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), one of only eight pharmacy programs in the nation to receive the honor.
The award recognizes the contributions of faculty and administrators and their collaborating practice partners.
UC's College of Pharmacy collaborates with Community Pharmacy Care, a three-store neighborhood pharmacy chain in Covington that is owned and opearted entirely by graduates of the school.
According to UC HealthNews, UC administrators and their practice partners will be honored with a
Tiffany & Co. crystal apple and plaque at the 2009 AACP awards meeting in Washington, D.C.
