A team from the
University of Cincinnati has won the ACG Cup, a business competition in which participants use a realistic case study of a financial transaction to prepare a presentation for a mock board of directors.
Sponsored by the
Cincinnati chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, the competition's goal is to expose area companies to graduate-level business talent, and to keep that talent in the region.
Multiple teams of master's-level business students from
Miami University, the
University of Dayton,
Xavier University, and
Northern Kentucky University also took part in the event.
The five schools in the finals split $10,500 in prize money, with the UC team taking home $4,000.
