Savvy entrepreneurs look to Cincinnati to launch their startups

The region benefits from a rare combination of large corporations combined with a decade of experience funding top-quality new businesses.

“Entrepreneur” magazine listed three key reasons why Cincinnati has the assets, expertise, and determination to become the premier startup city in the Midwest, including CincyTech’s seed fund, launched in 2007 during a risky time to invest in areas away from the coasts; the city’s developing, strong infrastructure for sustained success in the area of diverse startups; and Cincinnati’s large, homegrown companies — like Kroger, P&G, and Fifth Third — that use their time, money and resources to help these startups.
