Two of Cincinnati's largest corporations have named women to senior positions.
Cincinnati Bell named Jakki Haussler and Lynn Wentworth to its board, and
Fifth Third Bancorp named former General Electric executive Nancy R. Phillips as its chief human resources officer. Phillips will also become a member of the company’s executive leadership team reporting directly to the CEO.
Haussler will join Bell's board as the chairman and chief executive officer of Opus Capital Group, a Cincinnati-based registered investment advisory firm. She is also a partner in Adena Ventures LP, a company providing capital and expertise to businesses in central Appalachia, and is a partner/managing director in Capvest Venture Fund LP, a venture capital fund licensed as a small business investment company.
Wentworth most recently served as senior vice president, chief financial officer, and treasurer of BlueLinx Holdings Inc., a distributor of building products in North America, with headquarters in Atlanta. Before that, she was vice president and chief financial officer for BellSouth Corp.'s Communications Group.
