Create a company in one weekend? Why not? That's the idea behind InOneWeekend.org. The not-for-profit group is bringing budding entrepreneurs and visionaries together in Cincinnati this summer to experience the startup life over the course of a weekend. From Friday, July 11th, to Sunday, July 13th, more than 100 participants will envision, build and launch a new company. Things get started on Friday afternoon with a keynote speaker, then the brainstorming begins and carries on into the evening. On Saturday morning, the building phase begins, as the idea is developed, designed and a business plan begins to be crafted. That continues Saturday and Sunday, with the launch slated for Sunday evening. The $20 ticket price includes registration and food. The Cincinnati event, sponsored by CincyTech and InOneWeekend.org, is meant to help entrepreneurs get a crash course in starting up a company and decide if it's something they want to pursue further, and help build a network of support and entrepreneurship.
