Macy's and the National Park Foundation are collaborating on a partnership to raise awareness and generate funds for parks across the country. It's part of Cincinnati-based Macy's "Turn Over A New Leaf" campaign that runs April 20-27. The campaign is designed to support, educate and inspire sustainability and eco-friendly practices in everyday life. In addition to special promotions,
merchandise and in-store events, Macy's will donate all of the proceeds from ticket sales for its national charity days, called One Good Turn, to the National Park Foundation. By making a $5 donation at Macy's stores or online at www.nationalparks.org, customers receive a One Good Turn ticket for discounts clothing, accessories and home items.
Macy's national charity shopping days have historically raised millions of dollars for local and national non-profit organizations. "The collaboration between Macy's and the National Park Foundation is designed to inspire a renewed interest in protecting and preserving our national parks and to heighten environmental awareness among our customers and employees," says Peter Sachse, president, Macy's corporate marketing.
