KZF Design, known for its architecture and engineering services, is expanding into branding with the creation of its Studio 8 division. KZF plans to blend its identity and design services with architectural design, crossing the lines between disciplines to interpret and express an organization’s vision and identity. The unit will be led by Natascha Grody, who has international experience in corporate identity, brand development, strategic marketing, communications, advertising and corporate promotions. "We call it blurring the lines to clarify your identity and effectively communicate your brand," Grody says.
KZF is partnering with Brownstone Design, an environmental graphic design firm, on projects involving environmental graphics, signs and wayfinding. Brownstone Design is a minority-owned and operated firm based downtown, founded by Erik Brown in 1999. Cincinnati-based KZF also has offices in Atlanta and an affiliate in Florida. Its clients include the Rosenthal Center for Contemporary Art, Cincinnati Art Museum, the University of Cincinnati, the E.W. Scripps Co., Citigroup and Toyota.
