About 15 new tech jobs will be created when HBC-radiomatic expands its North American headquarters and moves it to Northern Kentucky. The company, based in Germany, makes radio controls used in a industrial settings such as factory and tower cranes and concrete pumps. The firm plans to build a North American production and distribution center in Hebron, Ky., moving from the Cincinnati suburb of Blue Ash. CEO Jason Looman says the region "offers a talented and available technology workforce and infrastructure in a central location.” About 15 people work there now and the new jobs will be created over three to five years. "HBC-radiomatic will bring important, new high-tech job opportunities to the region," says Boone County Judge-Executive Gary Moore.
