Startup Drinks is coming to Cincinnati for mental health and networking

Being an entrepreneur ain't easy. There's the long hours, lack of a regular paycheck and the constant demand to raise money. That's why once in a while people in that high-risk business need to get together for a little mutual support.  That's what the Startup Drinks concept is all about: people in the entrepreneur culture gather around a bar with a cold beverage and talk about what they're working on, what they need help with and what they can do for each other. It's a regular event in more than 20 cities and the first one is coming to Cincinnati Aug. 14 at Bar Louie at Newport on the Levee. "We're hoping to bring local innovators and entrepreneurs out of the woodwork," says organizer Ken Adair. Organizers say the drinking begins at 7 pm and ends when you say so. It's an opportunity for networking, mental health, even physical health. RSVP to Adair at ken.adair@neevo.
