To give Cincinnati’s creatives a quick download on the latest digital media trends, the city’s first
Digital Non-Conference came to town last weekend.
The Digital Hub Initiative, an independent offshoot of the Cincinnati AdClub, is kicked off its mission to secure Cincinnati’s spot in the world of digital marketing, branding and advertising, with this lively, no fuss non-conference.
Throughout this event, networking opportunities were readily available, starting with the Fire & Ice Soiree, held downtown at Bang Nightclub and AVS Art Gallery. This was followed by a “pub crawl,” marked by yet more fraternizing.
During the daytime, the non-conference met downtown at the Hyatt Regency, where an all star line-up of speakers lectured on the present and future potential of digital media.
Keynote speakers included Benjamin Palmer, Co-founder CEO of the Barbarian Group; Adam Symson, vice president/interactive of the E.W. Scripps television station group; and Ted McConnell, who works in consumer marketing for Procter and Gamble.
Alongside these keynote speakers, a smattering of other movers and shakers shared further nuggets of digital wisdom.
