CETconnect.org has made video on demand available for a year, and for its second year, it's planning to get better. Visitors will soon be able to personalize the site by registering their interests. "We will be able to show people who, for example, are more interested in science shows information on upcoming Nature programs and videos about the Cincinnati Zoo," says Susan Howarth, CET president and CEO. "And those who are interested in drama and the arts will be able to see what’s coming up on Masterpiece or at the Cincinnati Art Museum."
CET also plans to give the site a new look, make it more interactive, offer a wider variety and make some of that content available through podcasts.
CETconnect,org is a project of
CET, Cincinnati's public media provider. CETconnect.org partners with 45 organizations to provide content for the site in seven different areas. The site contains more than 1,000 videos.
