C-CAP's intensive, two-day boot camp focuses on entrepreneurship

An intensive, two-day session for entrepreneurs and potential entrepreneurs is designed to help them hone ideas, improve business plans, raise funding and launch companies.  The C-Cap Entrepreneur Boot Camp 2008 starts June 4 and features forums on creating and presenting business plans, achieving sales growth, creating financial projections, building teams, and getting funded.

Jean-Francois Flechet, founder of TraDiCom LLC, attended a previous boot camp and eventually had his Chef 24/7 concept (vended, quality hot food) funded by Queen City Angels, C-Cap's investment group. "It was very well organized, incredibly informative and the speakers selected were very knowledgeable," he says. Presenters include lawyers, investors, bankers and representatives of business assistance groups. Breakout sessions with investors and advisors are included as well as a Q&A forum with a panel of entrepreneurs.   "The entrepreneurs will learn how to start and run a growth company from entrepreneurs who have done it, and will meet local investors and professionals who can help them along the way," says Jim Cunningham, executive director of C-Cap, a Cincinnati network of entrepreneurs, investors and service providers.
