Brand Performance helps HIT Entertainment grow 120% in Q4 2008

When it comes to online toy sales, Brand Performance (BP) doesn't play around.

BP, a leading Internet brand management and development partner, worked their magic on the website of HIT Entertainment, a global leader in children's entertainment.

Thanks to BP's expertise in retail and eCommerce, HIT's 2008 holiday sales increased by 120% over 2007 through its official online store, the HIT Shop

"Brand Performance is very pleased that our online strategy and capabilities have helped to successfully expand HITShopUSA.com’s online brand presence and retail sales," says Ty Simpson, CEO of Brand Performance.

But this expansion didn't happen overnight.

Reaching these growth rates, required BP to redesign the HIT Shop website and expand its selection of available toys.  In its present form, HIT Shop has one of the largest online arrays of character products for preschoolers.

Yet BP was not satisfied with a mere restructuring and increase in inventory.  Thanks to their vision and branding experience, HIT Shop now also sells a line of personalized apparel for its brands, such as Thomas & Friends™, Bob the Builder™, Barney™, Angelina Ballerina™ and Pingu™.

All in all, a slam dunk for both BP and HIT.

"HIT Shop’s record revenue growth and increased profitability is a true testament to Brand Performance’s knowledge and ability to connect character brands directly with consumers," Simpson says.

These sentiments are echoed by HIT Entertainment.

"Over the past year, we have worked with Brand Performance to increase the number of products available on the HIT Shop, which has led in part to the incredible year-over-year growth," says Rob Weiststuch, Chief Information Officer of HIT Entertainment.  "We are very pleased with our progress and look forward to working with Brand Performance in 2009."

Based in Erlanger, Kentucky, BP is the parent company of TysToyBox.com and AllAboardToys.com, and manages a number of other online toy stores.
