Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau scores three accolades

After wowing a group of meeting planners with its stellar service, the Northern Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau (NKCVB) won the prestigious 2008 Successful Meetings Pinnacle Award, securing the Bureau’s place among the nation’s best meeting planners.

Recipients of this honor – the most elite of its kind – are chosen for their high caliber local facilities, wide range of services, links to valuable information and attentive staff.

Alongside this distinction, NKCVB added two more awards to its trophy shelf this year: the Planner’s Choice Award, from MeetingNews Magazine, and Corporate and Incentive Travel magazine’s 2008 Award of Excellence.

Courtesy of the latter, staff of the NKCVB will enjoy the fruits of their labor at a November 8th black-tie dinner bash and awards ceremony in New York City.

“It’s very gratifying to receive an award like this,” says NKCVB’s Director of Communications, Pat Frew, who credits the NKCVB’s excellent service staff for the honor.

In 2007 the NKCVB attracted $325 million to Campbell, Kenton and Boone Counties by drawing numerous conventions and meetings to the area.
