Cincinnati-based Convergys Corporation, a leading global HR, customer care and billing company, is continuing the process of hiring 220 people to staff its Erlanger call center in response to increased customer demand.
The company held a recruitment Open House on Oct. 29 and 300 people came seeking employment. The company is in the hiring process and plans to fill the positions by Dec.1. The positions are a mix of seasonal, part-time and full-time call center jobs in the telecommunications, healthcare and retail industries; 160 will be permanent jobs.
"As our local and national economies continue to recover from the recession, these positions will provide an excellent opportunity for some Greater Cincinnati job seekers," said Amanda Zimmerman, senior recruiting manager for the Erlanger center. "The additional business from one of our clients also has fueled the continued growth at the site."
Job candidates must have previous technical support or customer service experience, as well as computer skills and the ability to work flexible hours. For more information go here.
