Get Sick Productions "No on 9" viral videos latest in its Cincinnati promotion effort

New local viral marketing and new media production company Get Sick Production's latest round of videos squarely take on Issue 9, widely known as the passenger rail amendment, with a series of four humorous videos urging a no vote on the amendment.

The videos, produced in conjunction with Cincinnatians for Progress, are on You Tube and can be watched along with other Get Sick Productions here.

Launched in early 2009, Get Sick markets and advertises the Greater Cincinnati metro area. According to President Jonathan Miller, the company is currently working on a range of projects in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky with local officials, businesses and volunteer organizations.

The Get Sick "No on 9" videos focus on the wider issue of good governance, Miller said.

"Issue 9 expands far beyond the streetcar. Even if you don’t like the street car, we shouldn't change rules on how we govern ourselves because we don’t like a single issue," he said of the video's message.

"We try to use humor in everything we do. I think we wanted to make sure to keep our message very clear, short and concise about why we think a no vote is important," Miller explained.
