Online investment firm Scottrade has opened a fourth customer service office in the Greater Cincinnati area.
The company opened an office late last month in Anderson Towne Center, 7426 Beechmont Ave. The St. Louis-based company has offices in Blue Ash, West Chester and downtown.
Currently, two employees staff the Anderson office, and a college intern will come on soon, said Scottrade Branch Manager Kevin O'Connor.
"Customers in the eastern Cincinnati area will find the new office to be a convenient location to stop in and have questions answered," O'Connor said. A lifelong Cincinnati resident, O'Connor, recently served as branch manager at Scottrade's West Chester office. "Whether they need help opening an account or buying stocks online, customers can visit the office to receive the one-on-one support that will help them make their own investment decisions," he said.
Scottrade is a brokerage firm that focuses on customer service. The company doesn't make investment advice, but provides support to help customers make their own personal investment decisions. Scottrade customers can manage their accounts online. Products include bonds, CDs, IRAs, stocks, options and mutual funds.
"We have always focused on providing exceptional customer service and feel it is important to have branch offices where our customers live and work," said Rodger Riney, Scottrade Founder and CEO. "While most of our customers trade online, our branch network of more than 425 local offices enables us to provide a better customer experience for self-directed investors."
The company has 425 branches nationwide.
