Definity Partners, a Cincinnati-based business improvement firm, announced lyteITup!, a new IT division, last month. Although Definity’s consulting work has included IT for years, their new specialization will enable Definity to meet a growing client demand.
“During engagements, we often find that many of our clients’ IT systems don’t support their improvement initiatives,” said Tim Holman, president of Definity’s new division. lyteITup! seeks to identify and eliminate inefficiencies so that all processes work together to achieve transformational results.”
“Too often, business experts shy away from IT simply because fear of the unknown holds them back,” added Jay Kuhn, president of Definity Partners. “This is unfortunate because effective IT can leverage a company’s market share, increase profits and automate business practices. We help clients achieve overall database integration for their systems.”
lyteITup! team members can assist companies with housing data in on-site hardware or in lyteITup!’s data center. The team also provides know-how on hosting and integrating computer applications. These interventions control costs and reduce the risk of lost data.
Definity began as Midwest Manufacturing Solutions (MMS) in 1996. It seeks to go beyond traditional consultancy services with a hands-on approach to business services. Headquartered in Cincinnati, Definity Partners also has offices in Cleveland, Columbus, and Atlanta. Industries served by Definity include healthcare, distribution, financial services, and nonprofits.
