Lifetime Financial Growth (LFG), a regional firm with thirty-five planners in Cincinnati, is relocating its office to Plum Street in order to grow its presence Downtown. Currently located in the Mercantile Center, LFG made a conscious decision to remain Downtown instead of moving to its suburban location in Montgomery.
Patrick Wilson, President, explained that LFG is the only comprehensive financial planning firm Downtown, which makes them unique. They serve many professional services, such as law firms and banks in the downtown area, which contributed to their decision to keep their Downtown presence.
"We as a company are committed to Downtown and want to have a presence in the area," Wilson said. "We spotted the momentum and positive energy that the city has as it is turning around. It is headed in a positive direction and we want to be apart of the good upswing."
Growing up and living in Cincinnati his whole life, Wilson said he always felt particularly drawn to Downtown. Cincinnati had a certain vibe that he enjoyed, making it a top priority to remain.
The 120-year old building LFG purchased on Plum Street has the qualities the firm wanted in a building in order to pursue their growth strategy. Once renovated, the seven-story building will be renamed the Lifetime building. Wilson said it's an ideal location for LFG's commuting employees. Also, clients that visit from out of town, have the ability to visit the area after doing business. LFG plans to move many, if not all employees its new location, and add eight to ten more employees, in the near future.
"Frankly, if we didn't see the high energy and momentum that the city now offers, we would not have made this purchase," Wilson said.
