Time-lapse video shows progress of Griffin Hall construction
At the new home of Informatics at NKU, a new generation of professionals will build our region’s information economy. Watch Griffin Hall come together in a time-lapse movie of its construction from the ground up.
Griffin Hall is the new home of Informatics at Northern Kentucky University — a unique and inviting state-of-the-art facility where a new generation of professionals will build our region’s information economy. Purpose-designed to attract and retain artists, musicians, doctors, entrepreneurs and scientists, Griffin Hall will supply new workforce talent, technically skilled and broadly prepared, to the region.
These time-lapse movies are created from images captured by a camera mounted atop Nunn Hall. Capturing one image every 15 minutes, the camera has captured over 319,435 images since installation on September 18, 2009. Each time-lapse movie consists of approximately 1,100 images. The movies are updated monthly.
