Contingent first to build at Eco-Tech Park

Contingent Network Services will break ground on what it promises will be one of the Tri-State's greenest, most state-of-the-art buildings this Friday. The new 50,000-square-foot headquarters will be part of its Eco-Tech Park being built on Port Union Road in West Chester Township. Designed in conjunction with architecture firm Designhaus PLLC of Rochester, Michigan, Contingent is pursuing LEED certification through:

  • Photovoltaic solar cells and windmills
  • Natural and native landscapes
  • Use of natural light
  • Light pollution reduction
  • Use of rapidly renewable and low-emitting materials

The new headquarters also will have dedicated parking spaces for high-efficiency vehicles. Construction at the 9-acre site could be completed as soon as December.

"We are very excited to have such a one-of-a-kind building," said Mark Stuhlreyer, Contingent managing partner.  "We think the state-of-the-art and forward-thinking facility will greatly enhance the type of industry-leading efforts that will go on inside its walls on a daily basis.  It is extremely important to us to preserve the natural surroundings and take advantage of the site’s spectacular views in order to attract and maintain the very best talent our market has to offer."

Contingent and The Everest Group are marketing available sites at the Eco-Tech Park for "build to suit", Class A flex space.

Founded in 1984, Contingent Network Services designs, deploys and supports data communications networks and systems.
