Cincinnati hosted the largest Rubber Duck Regatta in the nation

The unofficial kickoff to Feeding America's Hunger Action Month raised more than $1 million to provide food for area children in need.

The 25th Annual Rubber Duck Regatta, held on September 1st, brought in more than $1 million for the Freestore Foodbank, which will help feed 80,000 hungry children in Cincinnati.

After months of events, promotions, and sales supported by about 75 local sponsors, two hundred thousand rubber ducks were launched into the Ohio River, setting an unofficial record for the largest race in the country.
