Composite Advantage has built a drop-in-place polymer composite bridge on Eight Mile Road in Anderson Township.

The 22-foot long, 62-foot wide bridge was prefabricated in a Dayton, Ohio manufacturing plant, and the eight fiber-reinforced panels were installed in one day.

The county then covered the road surface with concrete and asphalt.

According to the media release, the new bridge is corrosion resistant, requires no maintenance, and is expected to last 100 years.
