A team of six ArtWorks youth apprentices worked with teaching artists and professional videographers this summer to create three videos showcasing the resources and culture of support for creative entrepreneurs in Cincinnati. They learned to work together as a crew, how to shoot and edit video and how to interview subjects.
The team was led by filmmaker C. Jacqueline Wood, who had a busy summer between this project and her 10-week
Mini Microcinema project at the People's Liberty Globe Gallery in Over-the-Rhine. Wood formed her own film production company after taking part in ArtWorks' Co-Starters program for startups.
The apprentices' videos are titled
Creative Enterprise: The Resources (shown above),
Creative Enterprise: Brush Factory (A Case Study) and
Creative Enterprise: The Apprentice Experience. See the other two videos and read more about the projects
here.
