Deer Park

Deer Park was planned by its founders in the 19th century in the back room of Dwires Saloon, now Deer Park Tavern. Today, the city of 5,600 is known for its small-town feel, good schools, and local businesses. A jewel in the heart of the city is Chamberlin Park, a 13-acre recreation and greenspace that is within walking distance of any neighborhood in the city. Deer Park’s community vision is to create an urban design that connects people and places and creates an inclusive city that meets the needs of all its residents.
