A trio of local artists are producing captivating festival content.
This genteel town just south of the Ohio River features a number of charming treasures including the lively MainStrasse district with its trendy bars, pubs and restaurants as well as beautiful homes stretched along the river beneath the strikingly modern architecture of the architectural jewel, the Ascent at Roebling's Bridge, designed by Daniel Libeskind. Covington is experiencing a renaissance with new shops, restaurants and condos opening along Madison and Pike Streets, and a burgeoning Arts District that acts as the cultural glue that binds the city's charm to its proud denizens. Plus, its successful startup scene is attracting entrepreneurs, especially in emerging informatics and data-driven industries thanks to the UpTech business accelerator.

Scribble Park event panelists represented true makers from muralists and fabricators to user-experience designers and branding creatives.
Community tactics include infill construction, adaptive reuse, restoring existing multi-family housing stock plus planned development to provide more housing.
“Improving my quality of life was definitely a motivator in starting my own business,” said founder and owner Tom McKenna.
“It's about celebrating diversity, promoting equity, and creating a more inclusive arts community," says Showcase curator, Michael Thompson.
The recent CNU-32 event has left its mark on the Cincinnati region with strategic plans for [4] communities: Amelia, Camp Washington, Norwood and Xenia.
“Cincinnati was chosen for its history, distinct neighborhoods, unique communities and places, and how it has been rebuilt harnessing its own diversity to overcome adversity.”
