Cincinnati is the second-best place to raise kids without going broke

Economists and analysts at Realtor.com studied seven key factors to determine which U.S. cities are the best for raising families, with affordability and access to amenities being key factors.


Currently, the median home price in the country is $305,000, and the study capped it at $350,000, which helped place Cincinnati ($200,000) at No. 2. The story includes perks such as a strong business community; four professional sports teams; a diverse population; and a range of housing styles, and specifically calls out East Walnut Hills and Wyoming as family-friendly urban and suburban options to consider.
