Last week, Kroger and Ocado, two grocery giants, broke ground on the country’s first customer fulfillment center (CFC) in Monroe.
The automated warehouse facility with digital and robotic capabilities will introduce transformative ecommerce plus fulfillment and logistics technology to the U.S. all while bringing customers fresher food faster.
The CFC will cost about $55 million dollars to complete, consist of 335,000 square feet, and is expected to create 400 jobs in the region.
