Another way to measure a startups' success is to total the amount of venture capital funding that a startup raises.
EQSTL.com ranked Midwest cities by that statistic, and in 2016, Cincinnati came in at no. 10 on the list, with a total of $116,621,844 raised in venture capital. Another way to look at this statistic is Cincinnati has 179 registered startups, and 26 of those startups received funding in 2016 (that's 14.53% of startups receiving funding).
