Bacchanalian Society makes Fountain Square their party spot this Thursday in an event which benefits the Fountain Square Management Group. Starting at 7:00 pm, it’ll be an evening filled with wine, music and appetizers. This night also signifies the launch of “Fetch,” a

Know Theatre of Cincinnati kicks off its 11th season this Saturday with the regional premiere of Reefer Madness: The Musical. This political satire about marijuana portrays how Americans tend to exaggerate the effects pot smoking has on its youth. Come join characters Jimmy Harper and his girlfriend Mary Lane on their reefer-filled adventure, where along the way they encounter FDR and Jesus Christ. The musical comedy, which runs through Nov. 14, features lyrics by Emmy-nominated Kevin Murphy, head writer of Desperate Housewives. Click

Oktoberfest Zinzinnati this weekend. That’s right, Oktoberfest is back for its 33rd year to celebrate Southwest Ohio’s German heritage. There are six blocks of food, drink and live entertainment including Alpen Echos, The Pete Wagner Schnapps Band and Zinzinnati Bier Band for you to enjoy. The Fest begins Saturday with an Opening Ceremony and Procession at 11:30 am on Fountain Square at the Sam Adams Bier Garten. Be sure to visit the Oktoberfest website for more information on the Gemuetlichkeit Games, polka music, the World’s Largest Chicken Dance and new this year, party like a German rock star at the HYPE Haus Party.
